Char Beltran, former President/CEO "The Sedona Chamber of Commerce contracted Yes Marketing International three years ago to market Sedona to Germany , the UK and domestic motorcoach companies. Because of the vast knowledge and experience of John Hoffman, we also contracted YMI to help us train our local hospitality and tour industry in pricing and contracting through the travel industry distribution system. YMI has been so successful with our marketing efforts that we expanded their contract each year to include pre and post convention programs and continued training of our local tourism industry. Our overall hotel occupancy has since increased over 10 percentage points and our average daily rate has increased by almost $26 inspite of the fact that our inventory also increased. I only know of one company with the ability to represent a destination at travel industry trade shows, implement very targeted direct sales programs, generate targeted industry inventories, train local industry leaders and provide a return on investment that is far beyond expectations – that is Yes Marketing International! They also provide monthly reports that elected officials, our board of directors and our members say are one of the most comprehensive validations of YMI’s efforts on behalf of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau. Contracting YMI has been equivalent to having an additional full-time sales team on our Tourism Bureau staff. Because of the tremendous success we enjoy from our contract with YMI, the Verde Valley Tourism Council contracted YMI to represent all of the communities in the Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Sedona, Clarkdale and Jerome) to provide sales and marketing in additional markets.
